More than a Simple Coffee Maker
A coffee maker is a sleepy head’s best friend. The day would not perfectly start if this piece of home appliance will not work. Although you would see people in busy cities go to Starbucks for their cup of coffee, most prefer to have it at home. Not everyone wants to spend more than $5.00 a day for a single cup of coffee. Using a coffee maker at home may not be time saving but the difference is not that much plus you don’t have to start your day buying something so expensive.
A good cup of coffee is not just about the right blend and type of coffee, you also need to have the right coffee machine so that you’ll have a good cup of coffee not just in the morning but when you need it. Light coffee drinkers usually have their dose of coffee at the start of the day while others could have as many as five cups of coffee or even more. When you know how many cups of coffee you would need to have everyday, you can buy the right coffee maker for your home.
Cafetières – Simply Classy
A very basic type of coffee maker is the Cafetières. This type of coffee maker looks like an enlarged metal mug. Some comes with glass so that you’ll know how many cups you’ll have left. Although it’s highly insulated, the temperature of the coffee will never be preserved for a very long time.
Filter vs. Percolators
Filter and percolators could be the most popular type of coffee makers. Each type has a distinct advantage which makes it appealing to a distinct group of people.
Filter coffee maker is an easy to use coffee maker. Coffee just drips from the coffee making machine into a small jug which is also placed over the heater. Coffee continuously drips throughout the day as long as there is water in the coffee machine. Coffee is available any time of the day as long as water and ground coffee is there.
Percolators are also a type of coffee maker which differs in the filter on the fact that the ground coffee is located on top of the water. This design is older compared to filter coffee makers. This is often perfect for those who wanted to have a specific concentration or strength in their coffee.
Specialized Coffee Makers
There are others who prefer espresso and cappuccino. Instead of lining up in coffee shops to enjoy a literally small cup of espresso coffee, you could buy an espresso machine and enjoy a cup of coffee anytime of the day.
Espresso and cappuccino makers are relatively more expensive when compared to filters and percolators. They will also require more preparation before a cup of coffee is enjoyed. The success in making a perfect cup of espresso or cappuccino is in fact, not on the machine itself but on the ingredients. Make sure you have the right ingredients so that you will enjoy a good cup of coffee that you usually enjoy in different coffee shops.
